We had a nice day at the Ringling Museum of Art, and the John and Mabel Ringling home Ca'd'Zan, and  enjoyed the Circus Sarasota show at the Historic Asolo Theater in the afternoon.  We car pooled to Sarasota in several vehicles.   Our host Helen Gokbudak, also a Docent at the museum, shared guest passes with us and gave us a private, personal tour of the three Special Exhibits.  The fascinating handmade jewelry of the Turkomen Tribes in Turkmenistan in Central Asia.  20th Century Abstract Art from the Ringling Collection, including large paintings and some sculpture.  And a photo exhibit of early photographer Frederick W. Glasier featuring the Circus comes to town.  Read more about these exhibits!  After a tour of Ca'd'Zan (the Ringling home) we caught a quick lunch at the Banyan Cafe located on the grounds and went to the Circus show, "Circus,Cirque,Circo", in the Historic Asolo Theater, read more.  To our surprise it was raining when we came out of the show.  After a few minutes while most visited the gift shop, the rain slowed and we headed home after a pleasant and informative day.
