SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2020 - WINE GLASS PAINTING July 22, 2020

Bitter Ends Summer Activity for July 22, 2020 gave us a break from the hot weather with an indoor Wine Glass Painting class.  Lead by our Captain Marge Whiteman and hosted at Lois Steketee's home.  We used painting pens of various rainbow colors to create our own designs or we could use various stencils to paint on the wine glasses.  Dianne and Nancy also painted on stainless steel cups.  Note, Jill and Sherri excelled in free hand designs while most of use used sailboat, lighthouse, beach, and flower stencils. Lois also treated those interested to a Shanty drink made from beer and lemonade mixed together (about 3 parts beer 1 part lemonade or 2 to 1 depending on ones taste).  All who sampled were impressed with its refreshing taste.  Lunch at Angelo's afterwards.  We also sang Happy Birthday to Sherri Jones as it is her Birthday today.

Our leader Captain Marge Whiteman explains the painting process!

Lois Steketee welcomes us again to her home and very usefull pool table (covered provides excellent work area).
