The Bitter Ends met at 7:30 AM to set up for the Interclub Regatta our guests included sailors from the TI Tackers (Treasure Island), the Mainsheet Mamas (Tampa) and the Luffing Lassies (Sarasota). This was a bit early for some, but the work got done with all in great spirits. Eight prams were set up for the racers and the Sunfish were assembled. Penny Washburn and Carol Crane set up a terrific morning snack and beverage table. Nancy Bradtmiller and Bettine DeLea did a nice job of collecting the lunch money and paperwork in a stiff breeze. Thanks to Beth Anderson and Judy Collins for their Venice Yacht Club connections. Lunch was very good with a selection of five different entrees. Our new Interclub Chair, Ann Carroll did an amazing job for her first time. Her enthusiasm is quite contagious. Karen Williams, Race Captain, did her usual excellent job. There were so many Bitter Enders that just came out to help get the boats in the water and do what needed to be done. You are all so giving! Speaking of giving....Sylvia Turner came up with some splendid awards and race favors.
