SUMMER ACTIVITIES 2020 - SLEEPING TURTLES PRESERVE TRAIL HIKING July 15, 2020

Bitter Ends continues with fun and healthy summer activities on July 15, 2020 with another local trail hike.  Hosted by Sherri Jones, this time we hiked the 2.8 mile trail at Turtles Preserve North, a left off of Border Road heading north just before the Myakka River Bridge.  Meeting at 8 AM, Eleven total showed for hiking, with seven going on to breakfast at the Coffee Cafe on Capri Isles Blvd.

11 made it to hike, including guest Pat S., Nancy Muldoon's friend.

9 Bitter Ends, only Sherry Beck missed this shot taken by Pat.

Early morning Chin Ups! Thanks, Pat for this shot!

Brave Pam Miller began her climb up the tree to the rope swing over the Myakka.

Myakka River Views were stuning as the no breeze made for perfect refections in the water.

Following one of many paths. Note sign post number 9!

As the temps rose and no breeze was felt. We took a break! Note Judy Collins, the enerizer bunny, doing jumping jacks at break time.

Appearing one by one we finish the hike. Photo by Beth Anderson who along with Pam finished first.

Nancy is caught by Beth taking a photo of Sherry to include with the group.

With several doctor's apointments and virus concerns ony seven of us went for breakfast.
