Bitter Ends has Valentine's Day Sail today, Feb. 10, 2016.
After week after week of poor weather and too much wind. We sailed today in very light to no wind conditions. The Sunfish gave up waiting for the wind to pick up and didn't get any races started. Eventually we had some "cold" breezes tacing back to the dock. The IODs/Prams got some races in for the second week of our winter series. Yea! See group Valentine's Sail picture. |

TuTus were the Halloween
Theme this year suggested by Beth Anderson. Although some
had concerns over this year's theme, such as "Who was the Skinny
B who thought of this idea". The old and new salts
embraced the theme with creativity and artistic beauty.
Weather didn't cooperate so the sail to Snake Island was
cancelled. However winners were declared and bag lunches
enjoyed at Higel Park. And some paraded through the Venice
Arts Center lead by Pam Miller.
